Legal support service

Overseas hiring & people operations

Prepare the engagement structure, employment documents and local questions behind an overseas hire or contractor.

When it fits

Built for a real business decision.

This service starts by understanding the operational facts. It does not assume every situation needs the same legal response.

01

A company planning its first hire in an overseas market.

02

A team choosing between direct employment, an EOR and an independent contractor.

03

A business preparing an offer, employment agreement, incentive or core policy pack.

04

A company organizing an international role change, departure or people-operations question.

Fixed pilot fee

US$500

One fixed amount for the preparation scope below. We confirm matter fit and the written deliverables before work begins.

Included

  • One employee, contractor or EOR decision brief.
  • One document and clause checklist for the proposed engagement.
  • One list of local payroll, immigration, tax or employment questions requiring specialist input.

Not included

  • Payroll, benefits, visa, tax registration or employer-of-record services.
  • A final local-law employment agreement or legal opinion.
  • Handling a live dispute, termination or investigation.

The fee is for JurisLane preparation support, not licensed local-counsel representation. Government fees, taxes, filing charges, translations and third-party costs are separate.

How we calibrated this fee

We reviewed public fixed-fee legal and specialist-service references, then selected a simple pilot price within JurisLane's current US$200–US$1,000 range. These references are comparisons, not endorsements or identical scopes.

Working process

From issue to next step.

We keep platform support, drafts and human-reviewed legal work clearly separated.

01

Clarify

Map the role, location, control, entity, compensation, timing and operating reality.

02

Prepare

Organize the engagement model, document requirements and commercial positions.

03

Prepare

What to bring.

Good source material makes the first review faster and more useful.

01

Role, work location, start date and reporting line.

02

Proposed employing entity, EOR or contractor arrangement.

03

Compensation, benefits, equity, working time and leave terms.

04

Draft offer, agreement, policies or provider proposal, if available.

Questions

Common starting questions

Can we simply call someone a contractor?

The label alone is not enough. The working reality and local rules matter, so classification questions may need local advice.

Do you provide the final employment agreement?

This scope prepares the structure, positions and document checklist. Final local-law documents are not included.

Are payroll and visas included?

No. Payroll, employer registrations, tax, benefits and immigration are separate provider workstreams.

Important: JurisLane is a legal support platform, not a law firm. Public tools and content provide general information and preparation support, not legal advice.
